A recent poll was taken of the Birthright volunteers to find out why they devote their time to Birthright. Various answers were given, but the common factor was the desire to help pregnant women love their babies enough to give them life. The volunteers also loved working with others who share the same belief in life. Great friendships have been formed during the shifts at the Birthright house. The volunteers also enjoy the gratification of helping those who are not sure where their future might be with a baby. They experience overwhelming joy holding those babies born after sharing the uncertainty of their mothers about having them in the first place. Birthright’s mission is to encourage the birth of all babies conceived, but it also gives so much to those who have a heart for life!
